Gareth completed his BComm degree in 2012 achieving Cum Laude and joined RWM in 2014, after successfully completing three registered person’s exams in finance which are evaluated by The South African Institute of Financial Markets. Gareth subsequently obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning in 2015 and completed his board examination to obtain the highly regarded designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) through the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa. As fiduciary service and financial planning go hand in hand, Gareth furthered his knowledge by completing an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration, which provides an additional value proposition to our clients through our Fiduciary offerings.

Due to his commitment and expertise in the industry since joining RWM, Gareth was appointed as a Director of Resolute Wealth Management, and Resolute Asset Management in 2019 and sits on the Investment Committee alongside our Discretionary Fund Managers (DFM), Morningstar and STRATEGIQ Capital, and fellow staff members. Besides providing professional investment advice, Gareth is our internal Fiduciary Specialist, and as a Director, assists in the leadership of RWM.

Gareth is married with 1 son, and quality time with his family is equally important to him as providing professional advice and building long-term relationships with his clients.

His experience spans raising more than R50 billion in listed equity and debt, executing high-profile mergers and acquisitions and leading the team on an empowerment transaction exceeding R200 billion. He is highly skilled in investment analysis, valuations, and financial modelling, underpinned by a deep understanding of equity and debt capital markets.

Tristin joined Resolute Wealth to pursue his passion for holistic financial planning—helping professionals, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals grow and protect their wealth. Kevin began his financial services career in 1974 with Old Mutual in Zimbabwe. Moving to South Africa in 1981 he worked for several financial institutions, mainly in the short-term industry, progressing from Underwriting Manager to Account Executive where
he was personally responsible for larger corporate clients. During this time, he qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in the UK.

In 1990 he started his own company concentrating on both short-term insurance and financial services, until 1995 when he decided to focus solely on financial services. He had a rewarding practice based on the sound values of knowledge and trust which allowed him to individually tailor his clients’ needs to accommodate their unique requirements. Through this approach many long-term relationships developed with his individual and corporate clients. The welfare of his clients is a primary concern to Kevin, so as part of his succession plan, he chose to join Resolute Wealth Management, thus ensuring that they would continue to receive the support to which they had become accustomed.

Kevin and his wife, Trish, enjoy the outdoors and their many 4×4 camping trips have led to the discovery of unusual and remote places. Kevin is also a keen fly fisherman and amateur radio operator (radio Ham).

Natalie started her career in financial services joining Investec Bank in 1991, specialising in asset and liability matching implemented through money market products and structured capital instruments. She continued her growth and skills development by working within the institutional and independent financial advisor markets introducing the ground-breaking concept of multi-management as a senior member of the business development team for mCubed Holdings.

Natalie moved on to join a then fledgling asset management company, Coronation Fund Managers and was
an instrumental team member in the growth trajectory that built what is considered one of the South African
market’s most successful third-party fund management businesses.

Coupled with the collective industry know-how garnered over the years of experience, Natalie founded an
independent advisory to partner businesses which encompassed asset manager distribution, bespoke portfolio construction, research analyst and voting member on investment committees, practice management solutions and associated value added services. In addition to her strong asset management focus, she mastered the nuances of short term insurance products for individuals and commercial ventures and the often complicated and expensive need purchase of medical aid and associated gap cover.
